With Gran Turismo 5selling more than 5.5 million copies worldwide, it’s rather fitting for Sony to capitalize further than just hold a Singapore-based competition to determine the GT5 champion. Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong recently announced that the Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Pack 2nd Edition and the Gran Turismo 5 DualShock 3 Bundle Pack are on sale in Singapore. Both of these editions cost SG$122 ($95) and SG$165 respectively.
In addition to the game, the GT5 Collector’s Pack 2nd Edition will contain a 1:43 scale model of the Nissan GT-R made out of die cast metal and a voucher card that lets you download 11 free cars. Specifically, gamers will be receiving the stealth versions of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the Nissan GT-R GT500, the McLaren F1, the Mazda 787B, the Honda NSX GT500, the Audi R10 TD1, Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Chrome Line, the Shelby Cobra 427 Chrome Line, the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Coupe Chrome Line, the BMW M3 Coupe Chrome Line, and the Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro Chrome Line.
The DualShock 3 Bundle Pack will contain the game, a titanium blue wireless controller, and a voucher card for five types of cars. Gamers will be receiving the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Chrome Line, the Shelby Cobra 427 Chrome Line, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe Chrome Line, the BMW M3 Coupe Chrome Line, and the Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro Chrome Line.
Gran Turismo 5 is out now and has earned generally positive reviews from the press.
