Lest you think Activision and Electronic Arts are the only large publishers acquiring and making deals with smaller development houses, GT Interactive announced that it has entered into an agreement with Palladium Interactive that will see GT sell and distribute Palladium software in North America under GT's affiliate label program.
GT will distribute games in Palladium's Ultimate Family Tree genealogy series; Wishbone, a children's game based on the popular PBS TV series; and Microshaft Winblows and Pyst, games from Palladium's Parroty Interactive line of parody/humor products as well as future releases by the company.
Palladium reportedly does not plan to release any games under its Parroty label for at least the next six to eight months and has perhaps shelved that division of its operations.
