Las Vegas is the site of the Amusement Showcase International trade show, running Thursday (March 26) through Saturday (March 28), and GreyStone Technology has chosen to use that trade show as a forum to unveil its PC-based "real-time 3D interactive coin-operated arcade attraction," called XS-G, the company announced.
Players pilot "futuristic armed aircraft" in XS-G as they fly against other players in a multiplayer canyon race. GreyStone says that the game will be available in two versions - an upright platform with a 27-inch monitor and a seated platform with a 34-inch monitor.
XS-G will take advantage of Intel's Open Arcade Architecture for the PC. "We are excited about XS-G because the project brings together GreyStone's 3D software expertise, Intel's Pentium II processor-based architecture, and the manufacturing and marketing resources of Dynamo Interactive (which is providing the coin-op platforms for the game)," said Richard A. Smith, chairman and CEO of GreyStone, in a statement.
