Gran Turismo Sport New Off-Screen Gameplay Video Showcases Different Tracks And More-January 2024

With Horizon: Zero Dawn now out, Sony can concentraate on promoting other PlayStation 4 exclusive releases coming this year. Among them is Gran Turismo Sport, the new entry in the popular racing series coming on a yet to be confirmed date.

During PAX East 2017 last weekend, the Japanese publisher brought Gran Turismo Sport alongside a few other games to the event, allowing players to try these games out before release. Off-screen gameplay footage showcasing a couple of different tracks has emerged online, and you can check it out right below.

Last week, Sony confirmed during the Geneva Motor Show that they're partnering with TAG Heuer for Gran Turismo Sport, with the Swiss company being the game's official timekeeper.

TAG Heuer will appear as the official timekeeper and official watch of Gran Turismo Sport in all areas of the game, and TAG Heuer’s Live Timing technology will be used to provide players with an experience that’s just the same as real motor racing.

Gran Turismo Sport was originally scheduled for a 2016 release, but the game was eventually delayed as to not compromise on its final quality. A new release date has yet to be confirmed, outside of a generic 2017 date.

Gran Turismo Sport launches sometime this year exclusively on PlayStation 4. We will keep you updated on the game's final release date as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
