Simon & Schuster's resource-management game with a gangster twist, Mob Rule, will arrive in stores across the US in about two weeks. The New York-based company put the finishing touches on the game earlier this week and sent it off to manufacturing this morning.
The player takes control of a small-time con and works his way up the organized crime ladder to become the kingpin of one of five cities, including New York and Chicago. To remain on top of your game, you must build and maintain a network of businesses, bribe police, and tame the dredges of society. Assisting players along the way is a "Godfather," whose tutorial interface gives out tips and hints throughout each mission.
Mob Rule will retail for US$29.95.
