Horse & Musket, the 18th-century turn-based strategy game in development by Shrapnel Games, has gone gold. The game was shipped off to manufacturing for duplication this morning, and it will be ready for purchase toward the end of January.
"We are looking forward to shipping Horse and Musket," said Shrapnel's Richard Arnesen. "We feel that there isn't a better game to represent what Shrapnel Games is all about. We will fill preorders on a first order - first ship basis. Orders placed after completion will then be shipped."
Shrapnel Games will be publishing Horse & Musket itself, but will only make it available for purchase directly through its company web site for US$39.95. A demo of the game is also available to download from the company's web site as well.
