GoldenEye: Rogue Agent snags top voice and music talent-November 2024
Nov 15, 2024 10:42 AM

As if the concept of being a James Bond villain wasn't appealing enough, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent will now include some of the world's top acting and musical talent. Electronic Arts today announced that it has signed famed British thespians Christopher Lee and Judi Dench to lend their vocal talents to the game.

Dench will play her onscreen role of "M," James Bond's boss at MI6, while Lee will reprise his performance as Scaramanga, the titular villain in the 1974 007 outing The Man with the Golden Gun. Both actors have previous experience voicing EA games: Dench also played M in the recent hit James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, while Lee's velvet baritone can be heard in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

EA also announced that Paul Oakenfold, arguably the world's most famous DJ, will compose an all-original score for GoldenEye: Rogue Agent. Oakenfold's songs have been featured in numerous game soundtracks, including 2001's Frequency and this year's FIFA 2005.

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is due out on November 15 for the Xbox, GameCube, and PlayStation 2. GameSpot recently got some hands-on time with the game, so be sure to read our latest preview for more information on it.
