With 12 invited teams attending the event the organizers have gone for a split into two groups. As a result there will not be a GSL-style group stage like we are getting used to, but rather good old round robin. The top four of each group advances to the bracket stage of the tournament, which is single elimination best-of-three.
Most of Europe's top tier teams are in attendance, as well as recent ESEA champions iBUYPOWER who are from the US. The tournament is scheduled for August 2nd and 3rd in London. The total prize pool will be $30,000.
