　　NHL 24 is developed by EA Vancouver and features Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche on the cover. Among other new features, NHL 24 has what's called an "exhaust engine," which rewards players for possessing the puck and holding the zone.

　　Additionally Hockey Ultimate Team and World of Chel now have cross-play support between the same generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The game also has more than 75 new goal celebration animations, new camera angles, more lighting effects, and "dynamic rink boards" that display key game details along the boards during play.
