Microsoft and NVIDIA have a special announcement for this week's GeForce NOW Thursday. This announcement involves a partnership between the two companies to bring top PC Xbox Game Studios games to the library of the cloud service. This includes games from companies such as Bethesda, Mojang Studios, and Activision Blizzard.

Before going through the freshly announced deal, let's discuss the games coming to GeForce NOW this week. Here's the list of the upcoming releases:

Atomic Heart (New release on Steam)Blood Bowl 3 (New release on Steam and Epic Games Store, Feb. 23)Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator (New release on Steam, Feb. 23)Sons of the Forest (New release on Steam, Feb. 23)Ember Knights (Steam)Cartel Tycoon (Epic Games Store)Microsoft has partnered with NVIDIA in a new 10-year deal that brings the Xbox PC game library to the cloud service. With this, the top PC games will join the ever-growing GeForce NOW library, which currently has over 1,500 games available to stream across three membership tiers. Currently, GeForce NOW aims to bring games such as Halo, Minecraft, and Elder Scrolls.

What about the Activision Blizzard titles? Well, games from the company, such as Call of Duty and Overwatch, will be added to GFN if the acquisition deal between Microsoft and Activision closes. Once that happens, these titles will be available in the GeForce NOW library, allowing players to stream their games across various devices while switching between underpowered PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, smartphones, and other devices.

The Xbox deal with NVIDIA also marks the beginning of Microsoft Store games being available as part of NVIDIA's cloud streaming service. In other words, both companies are now working on a way to ensure that games that are available on the Windows Store become available on GeForce NOW for users to play at their heart's content.

In addition to this news, NVIDIA also reported that GeForce NOW will see a new region becoming part of the RTX 4080 rollout. Ultimate membership holders will be happy to know that Paris is the latest city to light up on the update map, joining cities like Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, Frankfurt, London, and Amsterdam in being the latest city to experience the increased power of the RTX 4080 SuperPODs.

GeForce NOW is available on PC, iOS, Android, NVIDIA SHIELD, and select Smart TVs. You can also play your favorite games with the power of the cloud through the Logitech G Cloud and the Cloud Gaming Chromebooks.
