A few weeks back, Microsoft and The Coalition confirmed that Gears of War 4, the latest entry of the third person shooter series, is going to be released on PC as well as on Xbox One later this year. The PC version will obviously come with a set of features not found in the Xbox One release, and today some new details have emerged on them

　　Speaking with Eurogamer, The Coalition technical director Mike Rayner confirmed some of the features that will be included in the PC version of Gears Of War 4, such as support for proper unlocked frame rate at launch, dynamic resolution support, increased texture resolution and more.

　　"Support for v-sync tearing has recently come to UWP and we will be able to offer proper unlocked frame-rate support that gamers expect on day one. With Unreal Engine 4 and our own custom modifications, we can take much better advantage of multiple CPU cores, alleviating the game from being CPU-bound and allowing more room for the GPU to shine with enhanced visual quality or higher framerates. Single-player will not be locked to 30fps on PC."

　　-Dynamic resolution support (any resolution will be supported with a sensible dynamic field of view - including ultra-wide).

　　-Increased texture resolution (up to 4K resolution for select texture groups).

　　-A benchmark mode.

　　-Full keyboard/mouse input remapping (including cover/run and roll split).

　　-Far more comprehensive video settings.

　　Earlier this week, a new Gears of War 4 trailer has been made available, showcasing sequences taken from the game's main campaign. On the same day, Microsoft confirmed that the Xbox One S 2TB Gears of War 4 bundle is indeed real and coming this October, including a crimson red Xbox One console, a Crimson Omen limited edition Xbox Wireless Controller and a download code for both the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.
