GarageGames has announced the launch of its V12 engine, the technology that powers Sierra's latest team-based shooter, Tribes 2. The open-source engine and development kit is available for use for $100. GarageGames was founded by four employees from Dynamix, the studio that developed Tribes 2. The company is devoted to supporting independent developers by providing the tools and resources necessary to create and publish their games.
