Among the games shown at Gamestock was Tony Zurovec's Loose Cannon. Zurovec designed Crusader: No Remorse and Crusader: No Regret while at Origin, and he has been working on Loose Cannon since he left Origin to join Digital Anvil with Chris Roberts.

　　Loose Cannon is a 3D action game that that puts you on foot and behind the wheel. You play a bounty hunter named Ashe, and you help the police by offering your gun and car where needed. You can outfit your vehicle with guns, rockets, mines, and other weapons to fight criminals and outlaws who dwell in the cities and in the more dangerous countryside. At times, you'll have to step out of your vehicle and fight on foot, with a variety of rifles, rocket launchers, and guns. The missions in the game include car chases, hostage rescues, convoy escorts, and base infiltration.

　　The game, which is set in 2016, takes place in several cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. Microsoft took pains to demonstrate to us that the cities in the game will appear alive with pedestrians and drivers that obey the laws of traffic.

　　Loose Cannon is scheduled for a fourth quarter 2000 release.
