February 21, 2005 -- Today is the Presidents' Day national holiday here in the United States, which means that we here at GameSpot have the day off. The holiday was originally meant to commemorate the birthday of our nation's first president, George Washington, who was born on February 22, 1732. Decades after the first national celebration of Washington's birthday in 1796, many states also began observing President Abraham Lincoln's birthday, which falls on February 12. Unfortunately for those of us who spent years enjoying a pair of three-day weekends in February, the two holidays were eventually merged into one and then dubbed Presidents' Day, which is a day where Americans can honor not only Washington and Lincoln, but also the other great men who have served as our nation's commander in chief.

As our way of saluting the proud holders of our nation's highest office, we've produced a montage of video clips from games that feature the president. Click the presidential seal above to watch the video, and see if you can guess which games are included in the montage. You can register your guesses on the GameSpot Special Features forum, or you can just talk about your other favorite moments in games that involve the president. We'll update this feature later with the names of the games included in the montage.

  Happy Presidents' Day from GameSpot!
