On the same day as we celebrated one year of the GameSpot UK podcast, we were also lucky enough to win the Games Media Award for games podcast at a swanky event in central London.
GameSpot UK took the trophy at the inaugural ceremony, which was voted for by members of the games industry.
Our first anniversary podcast featured Activision supremo and Guitar Hero legend Leo Tan, who came in to talk about Guitar Hero III, Call of Duty 4 and the company's recent acquisition of Bizarre Creations. We also discussed the week's news, all your feedback, and held a competition for five copies of Virtua Fighter 5 on Xbox 360.
