Planning on using the Game Shark for Game Boy on your Game Boy Color? Well, there are a few things you need to know about it first.
The GB Game Shark works on the Game Boy Color as long as you're using standard Game Boy/Super Game Boy titles. However, because of the new design of the back of the GBC, specifically the battery slot, games seem to be slightly tilted instead of lying flat. It doesn't prevent them from being used though.
It will not work with games made specifically for play on the Game Boy Color, in this case, Tetris DX, Wario Land II (color), and Dragon Quest Monsters. Interact is aware of the new incompatibility (and the GB Game Shark was never claimed to be GBC compatible) and will be monitoring the Game Boy Color market and is looking into producing a Game Boy Color-compatible Game Shark.
