TOKYO--Square Enix has begun recruiting beta testers for its upcoming PlayStation 2 online game Front Mission Online. PS2 owners interested in participating in the Japanese beta test must sign up on the game's Web site by August 27. Applicants must have the PS2 broadband kit and a broadband connection.
Square Enix will run three stages of beta testing for Front Mission Online prior to its commercial-service launch. The randomly chosen winners will get to try out the game during the full three stages of testing, which start this fall.
