Altar Interactive, the Czech developer that created Original War , has announced that it has taken up the development of Dreamland Chronicles: Freedom Ridge. The game was previously in development at Mythos Games but was canceled in February. Due to copyright problems, the game's working title is now UFO: Freedom Ridge.
The developer is working closely with Mythos game designer Julian Gollop to ensure the game meets its original vision. Altar is also focusing on gameplay over atmosphere and plans to build on the successful elements of similar games in the past.
UFO: Freedom Ridge is scheduled for release by Virgin Interactive in late 2002. For more information, take a look at our Original War of the game.
