It's the end of the road for Microsoft's racing game Forza Horizon 2. Microsoft has announced that the 2014 racing game will be removed from the Xbox Store on September 30. As part of the game reaching "end of life" status, all of its DLC will also be yanked.
If you already own the game, you can still play it, while you'll also be able to re-download it should you need to delete it to clear up space. It's not immediately clear if Forza Horizon 2's online services will remain available after the game is removed from sale.

Now Playing: Forza Horizon 2 and For Honor Free With Xbox Games With Gold
Microsoft's official statement didn't say anything about this (via Polygon).
Microsoft did not say why it is removing Forza Horizon 2 from the Xbox Store, but there is a pattern for "sunsetting" the Horizon games. Microsoft de-listed Forza Horizon 1 back in 2016, which was four years after it was initially released in 2012. Whatever the case, you should absolutely go download Forza Horizon 2 now, as it's free for Xbox Live Gold members currently.
Forza Horizon 3 remains available to buy from the Xbox Store. The next entry, Forza Horizon 4, launches in early October for Xbox One and PC. It's developed by Playground Games, a UK studio that made the earlier titles; it was recently acquired by Microsoft.
