Titus Interactive has today released the first information on the PC version of Top Gun: Combat Zones, which was originally released for the PlayStation 2 back in October 2001. Developed at Titus' Digital Integration studio, Top Gun: Combat Zones doesn't follow the plot of the Top Gun movie or even feature characters from it, but it does allow players to take control of many of the US Navy's top planes including the F-14, F-18, F-22, F4 Phantom, and many more.
Top Gun: Combat Zones features a total of around 36 missions set in different eras ranging from the 1970's through to the year 2000. Environments in the game are detailed enough to allow for low-level flying, and include the Arctic, Southeast Asia and the Persian Gulf. The PC version of Top Gun: Combat Zones is scheduled for release in Europe later this month, although no North American release has been confirmed at this time. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
