She's Lami, and she's a hard-rockin grrl who's ready to rock Parappa's world. She's the star of Unjammer Lami, the sequel to Parappa the Rapper. This time around, though, the game is based around rock music, not rap.
From the commercial, here's what we have gathered about the game:
Lami, the girl rocker, is the main character of the game. Other Parappa characters (like Katy Kat, in the commercial) make appearances, although it is not known at this time whether Parappa himself will join the fun (and perhaps rock the mike in a rockin' version of Aerosmith/Run DMC's Walk This Way?). The "Cool, Good, Bad, Awful" meter is still in the game, although it's now located on the left.
There's a face icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This switches from Lami to Katy Kat during gameplay. From the lines the two have to play, it looks at this point that the game may incorporate a two-player mode, with players switching off during each song.
During the song presented in the commercial, neither of the characters playing guitar appears to be singing.
