Virgin Interactive provided GameSpot News with exclusive first shots of its upcoming PlayStation driving game, Professional Sportscar Racing.
While there isn't a lot of information to report on the game at this point, the license - reflecting the pro organization of the same name - is intact (even though the vehicles and speedways are still under negotiation).
Each year, the PSR group holds competitive events on such courses as Road Atlanta, Mosport, Laguna Seca, Sebring, and Las Vegas. And while Virgin hasn't yet announced the actual sports cars that will be included in the game, videogames.com knows that Virgin has sponsored the league's Supreme GT Series, which in the past has included vehicles such as the Callaway Corvette, the Porsche 911 Turbo, the Ford Mustang, and the Ferrari 550 Maranello.
The title is expected for a late '98 release.
