At first look, Mega Man Neo seems very unimpressive compared to its predecessors. However, the boxy, cartoony feel of the game quickly begins to grow on you, rapidly becoming second nature. The game is presented all in real-time - no full-motion video here - so that the whole game can be a longer adventure than first planned.

　　Also surprising is the fact that the game takes a quick turn into RPG territory, complete with towns and with villagers to talk to. The game still remains an action blast fest although while playing the demo it seems as if the team behind Neo has a much higher goal planned for the game.

　　It's hard to tell at this point exactly how Neo fits into the Mega Man timeline (probably somewhere between the original Mega Man series and X). Roll accompanies Mega Man on the journey, and there are several new characters as well. There are bound to be many more new characters for Mega Man to run into during this adventure.
