Now Playing: 8 Must-See Anime To Watch For Winter 2020
Season 2 of Fruits Basket debuted on April 6 in Japan and continued throughout the summer. Anime distributor Funimation is currently streaming the English dub of the show. It's likely Fruits Basket the Final will air on Funimation as well, though when still remains to be seen. The second season of the anime is also available subtitled on Crunchyroll and VRV, and eventually, it will land on Hulu, according to Decider.
Fruits Basket is a new adaptation of the popular '90s rom-com manga written by Natsuki Takaya. This rebooted series is a faithful recreation of the entire manga series and features a new cast that differs from the 2001 original anime run, a decision requested by Takaya herself. The series follows an orphan named Tohru Honda as he tries to save the 12 Soma family members who are possed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac.
