Thrustmaster has unveiled a complete range of console accessories that are officially licensed by the upcoming 2002 FIFA World Cup. Among the products are a number of memory cards branded by the World Cup: an 8MB memory card for the Xbox, a 1MB card for the PlayStation, and a 59-block card for the GameCube. The newly licensed line also includes three gamepads for PlayStation and PlayStation 2, an arcade stick, and a GameCube Powershock pad that comes bundled with a memory card. A programmable Xbox pad that is based on the FireStorm Dual Power for the PC was also unveiled. Additionally, the company plans to release a mat named Football Stadium that will be equipped with light sensors so players can actually perform kicks while playing soccer games.

These accessories will be available in Europe at the end of April. Details on a possible US release have not been announced.
