'Tis the season to be creepy? Apparently that's what Tecmo was hoping when it shipped its horror adventure Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly today, just in time for the otherwise cheery holiday season. The game is rated 'M' for mature, retails for $49.99, and is exclusive to the PlayStation 2.
The sequel to Fatal Frame features the same eerie atmospherics as its predecessor, following twin sisters who find themselves trapped in a haunted village. FFII's gameplay also centers on defeating the evil spirits by taking their photos with a mysterious, magical camera. GameSpot's preview has a more complete snapshot of the game.
