FACEIT continue to support CS:GO and its community, this time by hosting a LAN event at Milan Games Week in Italy.
After successfully running the second season of the FACEIT league, the event hosts will now provide financial support to the top four finishers in European and top two finishers in North American division in order to reach Milan. In addition to $44,000 prize money that the players will have a chance to fight for, FACEIT have also provided $9,000 in total as the travel support for the teams. Here is how the prize distribution will look like:
1st - $20,0002nd - $10,0003rd-4th - $5,0005th-6th - $2,000The teams will be split into two groups consisting of 3 teams. Each team will face their opponents twice. The top two teams will advance into single elimination playoffs where best-of-three matches will be played. The event will take place between October 24th and October 26th.
