Epic Announces Unreal Editor For Fortnite, Arriving Next Week
Epic Announces Unreal Editor For Fortnite, Arriving Next Week-September 2024
Sep 22, 2024 3:31 PM

Custom creations were already a notable part of Fortnite, but Epic Games plans on launching them to new heights with Unreal Editor for Fortnite. The PC-only editor will offer Unreal Engine 5 toolsets to build games and experiences within the battle royale juggernaut.

Unreal Editor for Fortnite is an add-on for Fortnite and will launch March 22. Unlike Fortnite Creative--the current option to develop experiences within the game--this PC app won't require users to control a character within the environment while developing. That said, Epic does mention it will "work side-by-side with Fortnite’s existing Creative toolset, and teams of creators can work together across PC and console to develop and test islands in real-time."

Now Playing: FortniteFortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA Cinematic Trailer

Fortnite Creative has been around for years now, with one player even recreating the original Fortnite map called Athena Royale. Creative maps also have been an easy way to grind some XP in Fortnite too.

Epic recently launched Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, which is called Mega. One of the newest points of interest is Mega City, a neon-dripped metropolitian area with Japanese influence. There's also Attack on Titan crossover content with the new season.

Gamespot took the time to rank all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass skins.
