If the Wii and Wii Balance Board are anything to go by, Nintendo's console hardware can be awfully difficult to get a hold of at launch. That might not be the case with the company's latest peripheral, the upcoming Wii MotionPlus.
EA Sports is ready to tee off with MotionPlus support. Not only will the precision-enhancing Wii Remote add-on arrive on its own on June 8 (with Sega's Virtua Tennis 2009 the only game on the system to support it), but the attachment will also be available bundled with some third-party games. Electronic Arts today announced that its two MotionPlus-compatible releases for the month of June, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis, will both be available in bundles with the MotionPlus add-on.
While both games will receive MotionPlus-equipped editions in Europe, only the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 bundle will arrive in North America. The game-and-accessory package will cost gamers $59.99, while the game minus a MotionPlus unit will be available for $49.99. The bundles in both territories will be offered only for an unspecified "limited time."
