During Nintendo's E3 2019 Direct presentation, the company revealed a new game from Square Enix that revives a lost gem. Trials of Mana is an HD remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, the notoriously unlocalized third game in the Mana RPG series. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch in early 2020, and you can check out a trailer above.
Further details weren't shared, but Nintendo says in a press release that the game is being "fully rebuilt from the ground up with modern 3D graphics."

Meanwhile, that wasn’t all for the Mana series. The Nintendo Direct also revealed a compilation, Collection of Mana, which brings three games in the classic series together: Seiken (released in America as Final Fantasy Adventure), Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3. So if you want to try SD3 in its original incarnation before trying the remake next year, you can. That compilation is available on the Nintendo Eshop starting today--one of several new Switch releases on the Eshop.
