Infogrames has released the first shots of NASCAR Heat 2: Road to the Championship for the PlayStation 2.
The sequel to last year's PlayStation 2 and Xbox racing game, NASCAR Heat 2 offers 31 race tracks, numerous game modes (career, season, single race, beat the heat, pro trainer, and head-to-head), 2002 NASCAR season cars and drivers, and more than 100 different upgradable car parts.
Developed by Monster Games (which handled the previous game in the series), NASCAR Heat 2: Road to the Championship is currently scheduled for a Q4 release for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. We'll have more on the game later during the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
