E3 2002: Activision and Raven to use Intrinsic Alchemy-November 2024
Nov 14, 2024 9:07 PM

Publisher Activision and developer Raven Software have announced that Raven will use Intrinsic Graphics' Alchemy engine to power its upcoming console games. The developer previously used the Quake III Arena and Quake III: Team Arena engines produced by id Software to create its last few PC games, which include Soldier of Fortune II, Jedi Knight II, and Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force. Raven's license will let the developer create new games for the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube, though the license can be extended to other platforms at any time. For more information about Intrinsic Alchemy, check the company's official Web site.
