"We apologize for this unwelcome news. Our priority is to deliver an experience that lives up to our own high standards and to the expectations of you, the fans."
Techland has not announced a new release date for Dying Light 2. However, the game is still expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Dying Light 2's delay follows a week of game delays for some of the year's most anticipated projects. Square Enix confirmed delays for both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel's Avengers, while RPG studio CD Projekt Red announced a significant delay for Cyberpunk 2077, which will now launch this September.
