The Dual Shock Pad, the latest version of Sony's Analog Controller was released in Japan last week. The device offers two different degrees of shocks and is the size of a regular Sony controller, but with the two analog thumb pads inset along the inside. Instead of being slightly concave (as was the case with the last analog controller), the pads arc out and have a grippy surface.
The first game that supports the Dual Shock Pad will be Sony's eagerly awaited racer: Gran Turismo. Sony has yet to announce if or when the device will be released in US. Keep an eye out for the upcoming VGS review of the peripheral.
