DreamCatcher Interactive has announced that it has received final approval from Nintendo to develop several games for the Game Boy Color handheld. DreamCatcher's Game Boy Color lineup includes such games as The Mask (spring 2001), Woody Woodpecker (spring 2001), Universal Monsters (fall 2001), and Megarace 3 (winter 2001).
"We are very excited about adding Game Boy Color games to our 2001 console lineup," said Marshall Zwicker, vice president of sales and marketing at DreamCatcher. "Our commitment to the Game Boy Color will continue to follow our core strategy of bringing titles to market at prices that are affordable, without compromising content quality. The addition of the Game Boy Color will help complement our entry into the console gaming market."
The traditionally PC-based developer recently announced that it is also developing games for the Sony PlayStation and PlayStation 2 platforms.
