GameSpot has the latest information on Dragon Quest III for the Game Boy Color. The game has a character-building mode and a board game, both of which were featured in the Super Famicom version of the game.
Additionally, the player can quit the game anytime, just like in DQ and DQ II for the GB. The new feature in DQ III for the GBC is called Monster Medal. After players battle against monsters many times, they begin to earn Monster Medals. There are 150 kinds of medals in the game, and players can exchange these medals with others via the GBC link cable.
Dragon Quest III originally appeared on the Famicom, and Enix later released a Super Famicom version. DQIII for GBC looks like a port of Super Famicom version. The game currently has no release date.
