Today, Digital Extremes, the studio founded by Unreal co-creator James Schmalz, revealed it has been working on a new game for the past two years. Titled Pariah, the first-person actioner will be published in the US by Groove Games for the PC and Xbox at an as-yet undetermined date. Hip Interactive will distribute the game in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Besides a few screenshots and a bare-bones Web site, Digital Extremes divulged little else about Pariah. The game will be survival-themed actioner in "the traditional run-and-gun style" and will be based (surprise) on the Unreal engine. GameSpot will have more details on this game as they become available.
