The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has opened the gates for developers and publishers eager to compete for the more than 35 awards to be given out at its annual Interactive Achievement Awards ceremony. The award ceremony will take place on the second night of the three-day Summit, a high-level schmooze-fest and conference program that attracts triple-A talent from both the creative and business-development camps in the game industry (past participants have included Sega's Yu Suzuki, Lionhead Studio's Peter Molyneux, Kathy Vrabeck of Activision, and EA's Bing Gordon). This year's event will take place January 31 to February 2 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas. Details concerning the submission process for awards are available at the event's Web site.
