Act III in Diablo II takes place in the swamps of Kurast. It is a much more challenging area to explore and surmount than the previous acts. You'll fight thorned hulks, fetishes, and a bevy of powerful spell-casting monsters that will rain overwhelming sorceress spells, such as blizzard and meteor, on you.
We also captured screens from the dungeons below Kurast. In these dark and gloomy labyrinths, we fought massive maulers and little undead stygian dolls, which looked like skeleton puppets with large heads. Despite their jittery hopping and comical appearance, they are deadly creatures with surprisingly ferocious attacks.
The other shots we have included show a depiction of our poor paladin being battered by a blizzard spell that has been cast on him by the denizens of a ruin in the Kurast swamp, the amazon wandering through town, and the enemies in the swamp and in the dungeons below.
