For the first time ever for the series, Devil May Cry 5 will include a training mode that will allow players to test out combos before unleashing them against the demon horde prowling all over the world.
The Devil May Cry 5 training mode will be called "The Void" and it will include a variety of training options that are not too different from ones seen in fighting game's training modes. A new video showcasing the mode has also been shared, and you can check it out below.
Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker joined director Hideaki Itsuno from Capcom’s head office in the vibrant city of Osaka to show off the rich culture of the city and share how the team draws from their surroundings. Itsuno provided insight into how Capcom’s action games are influenced by the Osaka area, before giving Inside Xbox a first look at the comprehensive training mode he’s created for Devil May Cry 5 – dubbed ‘The Void’. As a first for Xbox fans, Itsuno gave a personal tour of Nero’s Devil Breakers, including the bonus Devil Breakers available in the Deluxe Edition content of Devil May Cry 5.
The training mode is a very welcome addition, considering how using Dante effectively will require a lot of practice, also considering the huge amount of weapons he will have, as seen during the New York Comic Con 2018 panel last month.
Devil May Cry 5 launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8th.
