Destiny is undergoing big changes today. Bungie has just released the game's new 2.0.1 update, which, among other things, introduces microtransactions and implements big changes to shotgun lethality.

　　Today's update adds the Eververse Trading Company, the in-game store when you can now buy dancing emotes. You can even pay money for "The Carlton," as made famous from Fresh Prince. As for the shotgun changes, the update removes the Shot Package perk from all shotguns, making shotguns less lethal.

　　In addition, today marks the return of the limited-time Iron Banner multiplayer event--with some changes. It runs through October 19. The next Trials of Osiris, meanwhile, will be held the weekend of October 16-18.
