Fans of GT Interactive's Deer Hunter series will be pleased to know that an enhanced version of Deer Hunter 3 is in the works. Called Deer Hunter 3 Gold Edition, the game builds on the original by including more hunting areas, a new rifle, more scopes to choose from, a map editor, and some new hunting gear like range-finding binoculars.
"Deer Hunter 3 Gold Edition adds many new features to the already popular and exciting Deer Hunter 3 game," says WizardWorks senior VP Paul Rinde. "With Gold Edition you can even 'play as the deer' and have your online hunting buddies try to track you down."
A full version of Deer Hunter 3 comes bundled with the Gold Edition, so you don't have to worry about not already owning a retail copy. Deer Hunter 3 Gold Edition should start appearing on store shelves this March for a suggested price of US$19.99.
