GameSpot News learned today how players will use the Visual Memory Unit in Resident Evil Code: Veronica for the Sega Dreamcast. Players can check the pulse (health) of a character on the VMU's LCD display while playing the game. This will be very helpful, since previous Resident Evil titles forced players to pause the game and check their health on the menu screen.
A playable demo of Resident Evil Code: Veronica for the Dreamcast will be available in Japan with purchase of the Resident Evil 2 Value Pack for the Dreamcast coming this December 22.
