Konami and Universal Music Group, a US-based record company, have announced an agreement to bring Konami's arcade dance-simulation games to the European market. The two companies plan to release Dancing Stage EuroMIX in Britain in August, followed by similar releases in other European countries. The European versions of Konami arcade releases will naturally be localized for the region. For example, the Dancing Stage game will feature the song "So Good" by the Irish music group Boyzone.
Konami expects to sell 1,000 units of the arcade games in its first year of distribution in Europe.
