New gameplay details have been recently revealed for Cyberpunk 2077, such as details on how companions will work, explorable areas and much more.
The new details have been confirmed by the game's lead quest designer Pawel Sasko in a fresh podcast. Sasko confirmed that enemies in Cyberpunk 2077 will be varied with different abilities that will be based on their cyberware.
Pawel Sasko also talked about companions, confirming they will too have their own unique abilities, and that there will be no way for players to control them or issue commands, outside of some specific situations.
More details have also been revealed on Flathead, and its importance when playing as a techie. It will come with its own AI, but players will be able to issue commands and let it perform a lot of different actions like perform takedowns, control devices, dismantle objects and gather items. Speaking of items, the loot system will not have any major random component, as specific loot can only be found in specific areas.
