Ubi Soft has today released new information on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for the PC. The game, which is based on the TV show of the same name, will feature the likenesses and voice talents of the CSI cast and has a script by Max Allan Collins, the author of three CSI novels.

　　In the game, players will assume the role of a CSI agent who--along with Gil Grissom, Catherine Willows, and the rest of the Las Vegas CSI team--must attempt to solve a series of different crimes by questioning witnesses, examining crime scenes, and analyzing evidence using the latest forensic equipment. To ensure that the techniques used in the game are realistic, Ubi Soft consulted with Daniel Holstein, the senior crime scene analyst from Las Vegas that the creator of the TV series followed while doing research for the show.

　　"There seems to be a synergy between people who watch the show and people who will want to play this game," commented Paul Guilfoyle, who plays Jim Brass on CSI. "For CSI fans who want to enter the experience of crime solving and puzzle solving, this game offers a great way to interact with the show."
