Crysis demo now available (sort of)-October 2024
Oct 21, 2024 4:32 AM

As promised, the single-player demo for EA and Crytek's Crysis is now available for download...kind of. Gamers eager to jump into an advanced look of Cyrsis, which was originally due out September 25, have one more hoop to clear, as the demo is initially only available to those who preorder the game through the EA Store. Those interested in actually trying the game before they buy can now download the demo via GameSpot.

In addition to an advanced advance look at the single-player demo, EA is tossing in a few more extras to lure customers to its online store. The game, which is available as a direct download, can be preloaded onto gamers' rigs beginning November 13, and activated at 12:01 a.m. on November 16, when the game officially launches.

Preorders will also receive the standard allotment of goodies, including a vehicle that would otherwise need to be unlocked in multiplayer mode, a Prima digital strategy guide, a concept art and assets book, and two themed desktop wallpapers. GameSpot's previous coverage has more on the graphically lauded shooter.
