Westwood Studios has announced that it will reveal the background story of Command & Conquer Renegade, its upcoming action game, on the game's official Web site. The developer posted the first in a series of eight articles covering the history of the game's main characters and the two warring factions: the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of NOD.
Command & Conquer Renegade is a 3D action game based on Westwood's popular Command & Conquer real-time strategy games. Players will assume the role of Havoc, a GDI commando, and they must use his explosive charges, sniper rifle, and more to keep the forces of NOD from completing their dangerous experiments.
