UK-based Codemasters has announced that its latest rally racing game, Colin McRae Rally 2.0, is on its way to stores. The game features an all-new engine created by the developers of the original game, and it includes more than 90 new tracks in eight different countries. Each track features unique terrain and weather conditions ranging from dusty Kenyan roads to slippery and icy tracks in Sweden. Six all-terrain cars are available in the beginning of the game, and players can unlock seven additional cars by playing through the rally and arcade modes. The action is watched through one of five different camera angles, including the "head cam" view, which features realistic jostling.
Colin McRae Rally 2.0 will soon arrive in stores for a suggested retail price of $39.99. To see the game first-hand, download the playable demo. We'll post a full review of the game soon.
