Previously, DMZ's Contraband weapons couldn't be modified, but Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 adds a workbench feature to let you finally customize your Contraband items. Here is everything you need to know about DMZ's new workbench feature.
First, you'll want to make sure you have some money saved up or some scavenged loot ready to sell, because you'll need to pay for each attachment added. Luckily, the Buy Station will be close by to sell all your valuables.
The workbench allows you to pay $3,000 per attachment. Just like battle royale and multiplayer, you can only equip a maximum of five attachments. You'll need $15,000 if you want to fully upgrade a gun with five attachments of your choosing.
The workbench will give you full access to all the weapon's attachments you've unlocked in the game, and any attachments you haven't unlocked will still be shown as locked and unavailable here.
Most Contraband weapons you acquire in DMZ will have at least one or two attachments, but don't worry, it doesn't cost anything to destroy attachments at the workbench. Just make sure you definitely don't want the attachment because you can't get it back.
This should help you with everything you need to know to customize your Contraband weapons in DMZ.
